Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly member Malika Bukhari has said that we respect the constitutional institutions, the role of the Election Commission in the current situation is regrettable, today not the PTI but the people of Pakistan are losers, the Election Commission Is requested to fulfill its constitutional responsibility, the Election Commission should not tarnish the image of the national institution by issuing a notification of Yousuf Raza Gilani, the whole politics of Maryam Nawaz is connected with oppression, forgery, deception and lies, she only wants a position. They have nothing to do with the country and the people.
According to private TV, while talking to the media, Barrister Malika Bukhari said that her party presented its arguments before the Election Commission and presented the case of 22 crore people before the Election Commission. The first part was that the case was declared admissible. The second part was to avoid tarnishing the image of the House. The Election Commission did not accede to our petition and announced its written decision. This petition is not Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf but the Pakistani people are the losers. The goal is to ensure transparency, which we respect, but their role in the current situation is deplorable.

Malika Bukhari said that our petition had two parts, one part has been accepted, morally Gilani has lost, morality demands that he should not contest the election of chairman now, the Election Commission did not accept our interim stay request. The Election Commission rejected the petition of the Pakistani people. He said that Maryam Nawaz Barmala was saying how she had influenced the tickets in the Senate election which is a crime.
