A landmine blast by Maoist insurgents in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh has killed three security personnel and injured several others.
According to Indian media, a vehicle of the paramilitary force 'District Reserve Guard' was blown up in Narainpur district of Chhattisgarh state. The bomber struck shortly after noon as a security vehicle was passing by. The condition of the two injured personnel is said to be critical. The Maoist militant group Naxalite has claimed responsibility for the attack in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh. These are called separatist organizations and the Central Reserve Police Force is used for operations against this organization.
