Police in Scotland have locked down a hospital after a man was stabbed to death. According to The Metro, the incident took place at the University Hospital Cross House near Kalmarnock. Airshire police say there have been two such incidents in the city at the same time, but it is too early to say whether there is a connection between the two.
However, police said that these were not acts of terrorism. "I went to pick someone up from the hospital," an eyewitness told the Daily Record. Meanwhile, a member of the medical staff was stabbed and the police locked down the hospital. According to the report, the second incident of stabbing a citizen took place in Portland St. near the hospital. The culprits in both the incidents have not been identified by the police so far.
