The good news for Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia is that the passport fee has been reduced. The embassy and consulate in Saudi Arabia have released the schedule of passport fee for 2021.
The fee for a 36-page passport has been reduced by two riyals for a five-year renewal. In 2020, the fee for this passport was 86 riyals which has been reduced to 84 riyals. According to the fee schedule, the fee for a normal passport for 10 years has been reduced by three riyals to 152 riyals.
Similarly, reduction in urgent passport fee has also been announced. The fee for making a 36-page urgent passport has been reduced from 143 to 140 riyals.
The fee for a 36-page 10-year Urgent Passport has been reduced from 257 riyals to 252 riyals. ۔
The fee for a 72-page 10-year normal passport has been reduced from 283 riyals to 178 riyals and the urgent passport fee to 454 riyals.
The fee for a 100-page passport is 168 riyals and for a 10-year normal passport it is 303 riyals, while for an urgent one it is 605 riyals.
It should be noted that the reduction in fees has been made in the context of changes in the value of the dollar in Pakistan.
