Pakistan and the United Kingdom have agreed to complete the extradition agreement as soon as possible, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said, adding that steps should be taken to ensure that the perpetrators do not find refuge anywhere.
British High Commissioner to Pakistan Christian Turner called on Federal Home Minister Sheikh Rashid and discussed bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom and issues of mutual interest. The meeting reviewed the progress on the extradition agreement between the two countries and agreed to conclude the agreement as soon as possible.
Talking on the occasion, Home Minister Sheikh Rashid said that Pakistan has a long and strong relationship with the United Kingdom, the country benefited from the positive security advice of the United Kingdom on Pakistan and Pakistan's identity in the outside world improved.
He said that there was a need to further strengthen ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom and steps should be taken to ensure that the perpetrators do not find refuge anywhere.
During the meeting, British High Commissioner Christian Turner described Pakistan's steps to control Corona as satisfactory and said that Pakistan's internal security was very satisfactory.
