Uttar Pradesh police set an example of cruelty and indifference, did not even spare a disabled woman for bribery, kept looking for a daughter and took car fuel money from a disabled mother.
According to local media, the police in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, acted in such a way that the entire police department was embarrassed.
The police ignored her request with their eternal cruelty and the disabled woman was scolded and chased away. Some officers told the disabled woman to put diesel in their vehicles so that they could find her daughter.
The disabled woman also complied with the order of the police and brought diesel worth Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 but the police did not touch her.
Finally, one day when the disabled woman reached Ruti Dhoti police station again, DIG Pritinder Singh was present at the police station who was shocked to learn about the negligence of his officers.
After hearing the woman's father, the DIG brought the post in-charge to the line and also ordered a departmental inquiry against her.
The woman said that the policemen not only continued to insult her but also leveled baseless allegations against her daughter. The DIG assured to find her daughter and took her home in a police vehicle.
He later formed four teams for the girl's recovery and ordered an immediate report.
