An attack on a security checkpoint in Afghanistan's Kunduz Province has killed 16 Afghan security personnel and taken two hostages.
According to a foreign news agency, the attack took place in Khanabad district of Kunduz province. Earlier, seven people were killed in five blasts in a single day in Kabul. The new US administration has hinted at revising the peace deal with the Taliban.
