Earlier, Rehana, an American singer who had reacted to the atrocities on Indian farmers, was branded a Pakistani agent by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and pro-Modi extremist Hindus.

However, Modi's supporters did not pay any attention to the tweet of American singer Rehana and they accused Rehana of spreading sensation over the farmers' protest in India.
In this regard, many famous Bollywood actors also said in their social media messages that other foreign artists, including Rehana, should not interfere in India's internal affairs.
It may be recalled that the Modi government has suspended internet service in Delhi for two months to stifle the voice of peaceful farmers who have been fighting for their rights.
