"Women are expected to dress in a way that appeals to men."

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has criticized fashion magazines, fashion brands and make-up brands for considering only white and smooth-skinned women as beautiful, saying that there is still gender discrimination in the world regarding women.

Huma Qureshi said that although issues such as women's autonomy and gender equality were now important, women were still expected to dress like men.

According to the Deccan Chronicle, in an interview with Indian broadcaster PTI, the 32-year-old actress said that women are still criticized and are expected to meet the standards of beauty set by society.

According to the actress, women are still seen as a business thing and are still expected to follow a special and limited procedure and behind this mentality is the idea that we should wear our own clothes. Not for men, but for men.

According to the actress, she likes to wear elegant clothes and look beautiful, but wearing elegant clothes according to her caste and will and choosing such clothes to look attractive to someone are two different things.

Huma Qureshi criticized the society and the people for judging the beauty of women in a certain way and scale and said that for many years people have been presenting fair skin as beauty under a systematic plan.

He criticized fashion brands, fashion magazines, fashion show executives and make-up brands, saying why only white women are considered beautiful.

At the same time, he asked why it is not the case that a fair-skinned and dark-skinned woman is considered beautiful.

Referring to Bollywood's Sanoli actress Priyanka Chopra, the actress said that she is Sanoli, but still she was chosen as the most beautiful girl in the world, Miss World, and she went to the West and proved that Sanoli color is also the standard of beauty.

At the same time, the actress made it clear that there is no single standard of beauty, it can be anywhere, in any case, it is not as it is being presented in magazines.

The actress has given this interview at a time when the famous 'Lekme Fashion Show' has started in India, in which she appeared on the ramp with her brother actress Saqib Saleem.

In an exclusive interview, the actor also spoke openly about women's fashion, clothing and the general public's views on it.
