The city has been chosen as the world's first airport for flying cars and delivery drones.

 

Airplanes, aerial taxis and delivery drones are coming to our skies soon as the world's first pop-up airport in the UK has been chosen as the city of the UK for air cars and delivery drones. Korean carmaker Hyundai today unveiled plans for the world's first pop-up mobile airport for vehicles located in the heart of the West Midlands Coventry city, which will be completed by November this year. The world's first civil airport will be built exclusively for aircraft and drones under government-sponsored projects to do so. The pop-up airport project will receive a  1.2 million government grant.
