Mongolia, an autonomous country between China and Russia, witnessed a unique sunrise on Sunday.
According to Chinese media reports, citizens in China's southern and Mongolian districts on Sunday morning saw more than one sun in the sky, which left them breathless.
Chinese media shared photos of the scene on a social networking site showing a fence around the sun, small suns on the right, left and top, with a large sun clearly visible in the middle.
In scientific parlance, the process of more than one sunrise is called a 'sun dog'.

Three "suns" appear on the sky over northeast China☀️☀️☀️
This spectacular view is caused by a natural phenomenon called "sun dog," also known as mock suns or parhelia, as a result of light refraction through ice crystals. https://t.co/N31a8Um6B2 pic.twitter.com/ZbBJLYu8gB
Scientists say that the reason for this is the transparent particles of ice in the air, when the sunlight is reflected from these particles, this reflection gives the impression of the sun.
It is as if two, three or five suns are visible, but in reality they are the result of reflection. The real sun is only one, and this process of reflection is called sun dog.
