Well-known British actor Rowan Atkinson, better known as Mr Bean, has revealed 30 years later that he himself was troubled and pressured by playing the role of Mr Bean.
Rowan is known around the world for his role as Bean in the series, but the actors themselves seem to be under pressure and tired of playing the role.
The British star played Mr Bean while he was pursuing a master's degree at Oxford University.
Rowan Atkinson introduced the character to TV in 1990 and continued until 1995.
The TV series Mr. Bean was sold in 245 regions around the world and his comedy was well received.
However, now, 30 years after the series began, Rowan Atkinson has said that he did not enjoy playing the role.
Speaking to Radio Times, Atkinson said that now that he is making an animated film of Mr. Bean, it is easier for him to give only voice performances than performances in the film.
"I didn't have much fun playing the role, the responsibility of playing it wasn't very pleasant. I found the role stressful and tiring."
