Police have been alerted on reports of a suspected white vehicle entering the city and snap-checking has been stepped up across the city.
According to details, snap-checking was intensified across the city between Monday and Tuesday night. Has entered through which any major terrorist incident can be carried out, so this white Corolla should be found as soon as possible.
In the wake of the intelligence report, Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon issued immediate orders between Monday and Tuesday night that all SDPOs and SHOs should be present on the roads while snap checking should be increased immediately. As soon as the orders were received, Karachi police was alerted and regular roadblocks were set up across the city, snap checking of vehicles was increased while specially white vehicles and Corolla model vehicles were checked.
Heavy contingents of police on Defense, Clifton, Guzri, Darakhshan, Metropole, Saddar, Exhibition, Gurmunder, New Pradee Street, Liaquatabad No. 10, Liaquatabad Post Office, Rashid Minhas Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Tower and other highways While all SHOs and SDPOs were present on the roads, no suspicious vehicle was found.
It may be recalled that a white Corolla gang is already very active in Karachi which has not only carried out robberies but also killed its members during robberies whereas a few days ago intelligence agencies provided information.
