The friendship between Hollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Farah Khan is famous not only in Bollywood but also in the showbiz industry all over the world and their friendship will last for almost three decades.
Filmmaker Farah Khan celebrated her 56th birthday on January 9, and on the occasion of her birthday, the Hindustan Times reported that in the past, she wanted to marry her close friend Karan Johar.
But Karan Johar refused to marry Farah Khan due to some technical glitches.
The Hindustan Times reported on Farah Khan's birthday that in 2018, Karan Johar and Farah Khan had made the revelation in a show called 'Yaaron Ki Barat'.
In the show 'Yaaron Ki Barat' aired in August 2018, Karan Johar revealed that Farah Khan tried hard to establish a romantic relationship with him and get married.
The filmmaker said that when he was in Switzerland for the shooting of the romantic film 'Kachh Kachh Hota Hai' in 1998, Farah Khan came to his hotel room late at night and told him that ghosts had entered his room. Yes, that's why they came to him.
Karan Johar laughed and said that Farah Khan came to his room late at night under the pretext of ghosts.
In the program, Farah Khan vindicated the claims made by Karan Johar and at the same time revealed that she wanted to marry Karan Johar at that time.
When Farah Khan talked about marriage, Karan Johar said that in fact he did not marry Farah due to some technical glitches.
Karan Johar said that he told Farah Khan that the TV tower should also be run and if not, the TV should be turned off, so he refused to marry Farah Khan.
However, he did not elaborate on the meaningful sentences and in the same program, Farah Khan had said in response to a question that if the relationship between him and Karan Johar was strained and their friendship ended, he would refer to the filmmaker. Rumors will spread.
Farah Khan said that if their friendship broke down, she would spread rumors about Karan Johar that they had a romantic relationship with him.
To which Karan Johar laughed and said that no one would believe such rumors of Farah Khan, because when rumors of a romantic relationship are spread, there is something between the two people in such rumors and people rely on Farah's words. So don't believe it can't happen.
Karan Johar, 48, is thought to be unmarried, but has adopted two children.
Similarly, Farah Khan, 56, was married to filmmaker Suresh Kunder in 2004 and has three children.
Farah Khan and Karan Johar are among the most powerful personalities in Bollywood and both have produced and directed dozens of films.
Both have acted in a few films and both have done costume design including choreography.
