Rescue workers have found a black box after finding out the crash site of an Indonesian passenger plane, but the bodies of the passengers have not been found yet.
The head of Indonesian National Transport Safety confirmed that two black boxes of the wrecked plane have been identified which will be removed and the communication record will be checked.
He said that two locations have been identified for the cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and flight data record (FDR) of Flight SJ182.
Earlier, the crash site was identified and rescue workers stepped up their search.
Body parts, clothes and other items have been found in the Java Sea. A search operation has been launched at the spot after the items were recovered.
The Indonesian president also confirmed the crash of the passenger plane into the Java Sea and expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the crash, saying in a statement that he shares the grief of the families of those killed.
According to Indonesian media reports, the plane was carrying 50 passengers, including 10 children, and 12 crew members. A total of 62 people were on board the flight number SJ182.
