The Pentagon has announced that 15,000 National Guards will be deployed for the inauguration of US President-elect Joe Biden on January 20.
The decision to increase the number of guards was made in view of the possible uproar from Donald Trump's supporters.
It should be noted that US President Donald Trump has refused to attend the swearing-in ceremony of newly elected President Joe Biden while Vice President Mike Pence will attend the ceremony.
US President-elect Joe Biden says he has finalized the names of his cabinet members. "I have a lot of talent in my cabinet, which I'm proud of," Biden said in a social media message.
