According to the statistics agency, Pakistanis drank more than 46 billion teas in the last six months.
During the six months from July to December of the current financial year, Pakistan imported 46 billion teas. During the same period, Pakistan imported mobile phones worth Rs 153 billion, wheat worth Rs 166 billion, pulses worth Rs 47 billion and dried fruits worth about Rs 80 million.
It should be noted that the production of tea in Pakistan is almost non-existent due to which Pakistan has to import tea from other countries on which multi-currency is spent.
