After saying "yes" to the wedding, the woman fell 650 feet down the mountain

People go to great lengths to make their wedding offer memorable, but sometimes the race to look unique can be daunting. Something similar happened in Austria when a woman fell into a ditch 650 feet below the top of a mountain after saying 'yes' to a wedding and her fiance was hanging from the top of the mountain while trying to save her. ۔

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, the couple had reached the top of the mountain the day before to make the occasion different.

However, the woman miraculously survived the fall because of a layer of soft ice beneath. The woman's partner tried to hold her hand, but her foot slipped and she fell 50 feet, where she escaped further down due to a strong grip on the rock.

Luckily for the couple, they both survived the accident. The woman was lying unconscious on the ice after falling, when a passerby spotted her and alerted the rescue team, while her fiance was rescued by a helicopter.

"They are both very lucky," a police officer at the scene told the Daily Mail. The consequences of this accident would have been different had it not been for the snow.

According to the report, the woman was not physically harmed but her fiance's spinal cord was broken.
