After the Osama Satti murder case, IG of the federal capital Amir Zulfiqar was transferred.
Following the Osama Satti murder case, IG Islamabad Amir Zulfiqar has been transferred and replaced by Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman. Qazi Jameel-ur-Rehman is a 20th grade officer who was earlier posted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to private TV, after the Osama Satti murder case, there was a demand to change the IG Islamabad. There was intense pressure from within the PTI to change the IG. In addition, the number of robberies in Islamabad has increased in the last two weeks, killing three to four people, following which a change of IG Islamabad was being demanded.
