Bollywood actor Rahul Rai, 52, who rose to fame with the Bollywood musical romantic film 'Aashiqui', has recovered from a stroke after being hospitalized for about a month and a half. Rahul Roy suffered a stroke while shooting at the height of Kargil on November 30 last year and was rushed to hospital on an emergency basis.
There were reports that Rahul Rai had suffered a cerebral palsy due to extreme cold and difficulty in breathing at the top of Kargil. Rahul Rai was initially brought to Srinagar in Occupied Kashmir after great efforts from the heights of Kargil, from where he was taken by ambulance to a private hospital in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Rahul Rai had suffered a severe stroke and a blood clot in one part of his mind, which made him unconscious. Rahul Roy was treated at the hospital from November 30, 2020 to January 6, 2021, but was discharged on January 7 after his health improved.
The Indian newspaper The Indian Express reported that Rahul Rai was discharged from the hospital after recovering and returned home about a month and a half later. After being discharged from the hospital, the actor thanked everyone for praying in an Instagram post and said that he is fine now.
Rahul Rai gained fame from the 1992 film 'Aashiqui', with which Anu Agrawal worked in film. Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt's musical romantic film became so popular that people are still fascinated by it, but a remake was also made in 2013.
