It may be recalled that in the wake of the emergence of a new strain of Corona virus in the UK, the government of the Indian state of Maharashtra had decided to impose a curfew in all municipal areas at night yesterday.
The curfew will be in effect from 11pm to 6am, effective January 5.
During this time all shops except medical stores will be closed at 11 pm and police personnel will be present to enforce the rules.
