Turkey has released a new schedule for oil and gas exploration in the Eastern Mediterranean. According to the newly released Nautix, the Turkish ship Aruch Rais will continue to search for oil and gas in the Eastern Mediterranean until June 15, 2021.
Along with Aroch Raees, two other seismic ships Ataman and Genghis Khan have also been included in the research.
All three ships will carry out geological, geophysical, and geological surveys in the Eastern Mediterranean. It should be noted that Turkey recalled its seismic ship, Aroch Rais, from the Eastern Mediterranean on November 29.
The maritime dispute between Turkey and Greece continues. Greece wants to create a large economic zone based on small islands off the Turkish coast. Turkey says it will not relinquish its maritime rights under any circumstances.
It should be noted that in October and November, the maritime dispute between Turkey and Greece was about to take the form of a military confrontation, but NATO had tried to calm the situation by bringing together the military officials of the two countries.
