In the Indian state of Jharkhand, 17 accused gang-raped a woman who was going home with her husband.
According to Indian media, the 35-year-old woman was returning from the bazaar with her husband in the evening when the thugs caught the couple. The 17 accused gang-raped the woman by holding her husband hostage. The accused kept on raping the woman till 12 o'clock at night.
The victim's husband said that when he was returning from the bazaar, 17 boys were standing on the road who were drunk. Five of them grabbed me and two grabbed my wife, after which they took my wife to the bushes and raped her.
Police have registered a case of gang rape and arrested one accused, who is being questioned. Police also expressed doubts about the truth of the matter
