Singer Sher, who is trying to free the elephant 'Kaun' in Pakistan and bring it back to the jungle, has told the story of her struggle to the world. In an interview with CNN, Sher said that he came to know about Kaun through Twitter, after which he contacted the Pakistani authorities and started talking to them about Kaun's release.
"Earlier in Pakistan, I had to talk to two administrations, but since Imran Khan's government came, it has become easier and we have to get Kaun released," said Sher, founder of the animal rights group Free the Wild. They managed to get him back to the forest to his companions. "In Islamabad, the elephant only shook its head, but when it was taken to the sanctuary, it stopped shaking its head and lived as if it were an elephant in a natural environment," said Sher. He started throwing dust on himself from the trunk and looked around.
