The number of critically ill patients is increasing rapidly, according to NCOC

 

The spread of the coronavirus in the country continues to fluctuate and the condition of 2,357 corona patients across the country is currently critical.

A statement from the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) said that the number of critically ill patients ofCovid 19 was increasing rapidly.

According to NCOC data, the highest corona test positive rate in the country was recorded in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir at 18.18%.

In the second place, the positive rate of corona virus was highest in Karachi at 14.09 percent, followed by Hyderabad at 9.77 percent.

In other federal units, the corona test pass rate is as follows:

Azad Kashmir recorded 14.33 percent, Sindh 7.83 percent, Punjab 5.65 percent, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.54 percent, Balochistan 4.24 percent, Islamabad 3.73 percent, and Gilgit-Baltistan 0.77 percent.

In terms of cities in the provinces, the corona test pass rate is as follows:

Sindh

Karachi: 14.09 percent

Hyderabad: 9.77 percent

Punjab

Lahore: 9.94 percent

Rawalpindi: 6.95 percent

Faisalabad: 5.67%

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Peshawar: 4.34 percent

Swat: 6.56%

Abbottabad: 7.38%

Balochistan

Quetta: 3.85%

Islamabad

ICT: 3.73%

Azad Jammu and Kashmir

Mirpur: 18.18%

Muzaffarabad: 3.70%

It may be recalled that according to official data, 36,909 tests for corona virus were conducted across the country in the last 24 hours in which 2,260 tested positive.

In addition, on December 25, the death rate of corona virus patients was 2.28% while the recovery rate was 97.72.

The total number of people infected with the virus in the country is 469,482 out of which 420,489 have recovered while the number of deaths has reached 9,164.
