Pakistani mosque imam killed A mosque imam from Gujrat district of Punjab has been killed in Stuttgart, Germany.
The Pakistani imam was killed while walking near his residence. The unidentified assailants managed to escape after killing the imam of the mosque.
Unidentified assailants used iron rods to kill the 26-year-old imam. Local police are searching for the unidentified assailants and are investigating.
The late Shahid Nawaz Qadri used to perform his duties as the Deputy Imam in the local Madinah Mosque.
Pakistan's ambassador to Germany, Dr. Faisal, said on social networking site Twitter that he had sent a Pakistani consul general based in Frankfurt to meet with the victim's family and provide them with all possible assistance.
According to Dr. Faisal, the Pakistani Consul General in Frankfurt will also hold talks with the area police.
