The Kuwaiti government has decided to partially open all its borders on January 2.
Arab media quoted the Kuwaiti News Agency as saying in a report that the decision to open the borders was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al-Hamd Al-Sabah.
The cabinet said the decision to close the border was due to a new form of the coronavirus by January 1.
The report further states that the decision will not be extended, all borders will be partially reopened on January 2.
