Iqra Khan, a stage drama dancer in Lahore, has alleged that a director-producer shot her simply because she did not fulfill his illegitimate desires. Stage actress and dancer Iqra Khan was shot dead in Sabzazar Lahore on December 9.
Iqra Khan has registered a case against director-producer Malik Naseer Ahmed. The accused is out on bail till January 5. Stage actress Iqra Khan alleged that Malik Naseer Ahmed told her to stop after the show, engaging in immoral acts and beatings as well as preventing her from working in other theaters.
Iqra Khan also alleged that incidents of abuse of working girls by theater owners and producers were part of the norm, forcing girls to endure it all for employment. The mother of stage actress and dancer Iqra Khan says that her daughter is the sole breadwinner of the house, after all why can't girls earn a decent living.
Geo News repeatedly tried to contact director, producer Malik Naseer Ahmed to get his position, but his phone was not answered and he did not reply to messages.
