In India, another suicide has come to light in the farmers' movement fighting against the Modi government's cruel agricultural laws.
According to details, Amar Jait Singh, a lawyer in India, committed suicide by consuming poison. Before taking his own life, he wrote a note in which he blamed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his death.
"I am sacrificing my life in support of the peasant movement, and Narendra Modi is responsible for my death. All three agricultural laws are detrimental to farmers and workers," Amarjit Singh wrote in a suicide note.
According to police, the lawyer committed suicide on Sunday night near the Tekri border on the Delhi border, where a few days ago, Sant Baba Ram Singh also committed suicide in protest against the Modi government.
Police say the lawyer ate a poisonous substance after writing the note, after which he was rushed to Rohtak Hospital in a semi-dead condition, but his life could not be saved. According to police, part of the suicide note was typed while part was written with a pen. Police have sent the letter for investigation.
The lawyer wrote in the letter that the Prime Minister has become the property of a few people, all the three agricultural laws will destroy the lives of farmers as well as workers and common man, the government is snatching the livelihood of farmers, laborers and people. ۔
It is to be noted that the anger of the farmers against the controversial agricultural laws passed by the Modi government is increasing and the number of protesters on the borders of Delhi is also increasing.
Earlier on December 16, Sant Baba Ram Singh shot himself dead during a farmers 'demonstration at the Singho border. He had been at the forefront of the farmers' movement on the border for several days and had seen the plight of the farmers. Drowning in grief, he was seen several times distributing blankets and food among the people.
Saint Ram wrote in his suicide note that the farmers are in trouble, the government is oppressive and sinful, it is also a sin to tolerate oppression, someone did something in favor of the farmers, someone did something in favor of the government oppression. I am dying.
