Police in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu has arrested the husband of the late actress Chitra Kamraj for allegedly inciting her to commit suicide.
Leading Indian TV actress and host Chitra Kamaraj was found dead at a local hotel in Chennai on December 9 and her death was declared a suicide. The couple had already registered their marriage, but traditionally the wedding was to take place in January. The actress had committed suicide at a hotel in Chennai on December 9 this month, after which her family members demanded an investigation from the police.
After investigation, the police have arrested her husband Hemant for forcing the actress to commit suicide and a case has also been registered against her. She recovered the messages and gathered evidence, but her husband deleted the messages and called the police.
