Samples of the coronavirus were found in imported meat in the Chinese city of Wuhan.
According to CGTN, officials in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province, say they have found coronavirus samples on packages of imported pork and beef. Officials say 1,527 cases have been found in 27 tonnes of frozen pork. The meat arrived in Wuhan from Brazil on July 29. According to officials, 1210 cases of the corona were reported from 27 tonnes of beef from Uruguay on March 28.
Authorities sealed and disinfected the warehouses after the report surfaced on Sunday. Authorities have tested the corona of 524 employees working in the warehouse who tested negative.
