An elderly couple was rescued alive from a flooded car in a British city in what is being called a "Christmas miracle".
According to British media, a car was submerged in flood waters in an area near the city of Norwich for two hours, the rescue team rescued the couple from it two hours later, locals who saw the rescue operation said it was a Incredible event.
The incident happened a day earlier, when a car was submerged in extremely cold floodwaters for two hours, the video shows rescue workers breaking the car's glass, which is barely visible in 6 feet of water. The crew later pulled a woman and a man out of the car who were still alive.
It is said that one of the rescued couples was around 70 years old.
About 2 inches of rain fell in Norfolk County, UK, causing severe flooding in the south of the country, while a thousand people trapped in a park in Northampton were evacuated last night.
People thought the car would be empty, but when the couple was found in it, they were surprised. The couple was rushed to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
People said that such a situation is normal in this area after the rains, and usually in case of a car getting stuck, people get out easily before the water rises.
