Actress Armila Matundkar, who married a Muslim businessman, joins Hindu extremist organization.

 

Bollywood actress Armela Matondkar has joined the Hindu extremist organization, Shiv Sena.

According to Indian media, before the general elections in 2019, Armila Matondkar entered politics and secular parties joined the Congress. He also contested from the North Mumbai constituency but lost. Armela, who joined the Congress in March 2019, said goodbye to the party in September 2019, accusing Congress workers of not cooperating.

Now, more than a year later, he has joined the Hindu extremist organization, Shiv Sena. Shiv Sena is the ruler of the state of Maharashtra and the capital of that state is Mumbai which is the stronghold of Bollywood.

Urmila Matondkar was married in 2016 to Mohsin Akhtar Mir, a Kashmiri businessman nine years her junior. Mohsin Akhtar Mir has acted in the film 'Luck by Chance' directed by Zoya Akhtar. He was seen modeling with Farhan Akhtar. Last year, when Urmila Matondkar was contesting the elections, her Muslim husband was criticized by the BJP.
