A Saudi man committed suicide by standing at the door of his wife's house after failing to persuade her. According to the Express Tribune, 45-year-old Yousuf Chak No. 203 RB was a resident of Malikpur who had returned to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia 25 days ago. He had got married for the second time to a girl named Mahin, a resident of Mohalla Garden Colony. They had been married for 12 years, during which time Yusuf sent her money from Saudi Arabia to buy a house, and now she lives in the same house.
According to the report, Yusuf and Maheen also had a son. However, upon Yusuf's return to Pakistan, Mahin approached the court for khula. Yusuf tried to persuade her, but Mahin refused to go back. When Yusuf received the second notice of khula, he took poison pills and went to Mahin's house. He knocked on the door but Maheen did not open the door on which he stood at the door and ate poisonous bullets. Yousef was rushed to hospital in critical condition but could not recover. According to police, Yusuf first married Nighat Bibi in 1995 and they had four children.
