Turkish President Recep Tayyab Erdogan had a telephone conversation with his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the situation of the ongoing war between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the disputed region of Karabakh.
Erdogan told Ilham Aliyev that he was happy to hear the latest positive developments in Azerbaijan, adding that "we are close to victory."
