Want a blue tick on your Twitter account? So it will happen soon.

If you want to be a 'special person' in the world of social media, the good news is that Twitter has announced the resumption of the process of putting a blue tick on ordinary user accounts.

Twitter has announced that it will be re-launching its verification system in 2021 and that public opinion will be taken into account.

Under the new policy, Twitter will initially verify six types of accounts, including government officials, companies, brands, nonprofits, news, entertainment, sports and social organizations, and other influential figures.

According to the company, these categories will be expanded over time.

Twitter's Blue Tick aims to authenticate public figures' accounts, but the process was halted for the general public in 2017 when the company was at a loss as to how to tell people how to verify. What does it mean?

In 2018, Twitter announced an improvement in the verification system, which extended the acquisition of Bluetooth, but it did not work.

This year, the accounts of medical professionals have been verified by Twitter, but it was limited to bus covid 19.

Now the company has decided to make this facility available to everyone and has shared a draft of the new policy, on which public feedback will be sought.

The policy details more on which accounts can be verified and why some accounts will not be included in the process.

For example, Twitter says that the account should be visible and dynamic, while people whose profile is not complete will not be considered.

Accounts that continue to violate the site's rules will also not be verified by Twitter.

The company also acknowledged that it has verified accounts over the years that should not have been, and will now begin removing Bluetooth from incomplete profiles or inactive accounts.

The company also provided details that would allow the user to know how to determine a category's account.

For example, media organizations have to follow the principles of journalism, while independent or freelance journalists have to provide 3 articles published in the last 6 months in a good organization.

After December 8, Twitter will train its team on the new policy and the final policy will be introduced on December 17, while the application process for the verification system will begin in early 2021.
