According to CNN, Democratic candidate Joe Biden has been elected the 46th President of the United States. He won the state of Pennsylvania with 20 votes, after which he was crowned president.
According to CNN polls, Biden previously had 253 votes, but since the results of Pennsylvania on Saturday, his vote has risen to 273 and he has been elected president of the global superpower. He will be sworn in as President in January 2021.
On the other hand, according to the Associated Press news agency, the number of Biden's electoral votes was 264 before. Now, after winning Pennsylvania, his electoral vote is 284.
Keep in mind that the total number of electoral votes in the United States is 538 and a successful candidate must get more than half of the votes, that is, at least 270 votes.
