"There is no competition between Chah-e-Bihar and Gwadar ports," said the Iranian ambassador

Ali Mohammad Hussain, Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, said that Pak-Iran relations are based on friendship, brotherhood, and fraternity. No competition.

Speaking on a private TV program, the Iranian ambassador said that Pakistan is the second home of Iranians and Iran is the second home of Pakistanis. There is a feeling of love, affection, and closeness with each other. Less is more. He said that at present the trade volume is one and a half billion dollars which should be at least five billion dollars. Chah-e-Bihar and Gwadar ports have no competition with each other. Prime Minister Imran Khan has played a leading role against Islamophobia and blasphemous sketches.

Ali Mohammad Hussein said that US sanctions on Iran were tantamount to economic terrorism, adding that the positive attitude of the new US administration could improve relations between the two countries. Talking about the Pak-Iran gas pipeline, Ali Mohammad Hussain said that Iran is currently supplying 100 megawatts of electricity to Pakistan and we want to increase it to 500 megawatts. He said that millions of Pakistanis come to Iran for religious pilgrimages and as soon as the Korona epidemic is over, it will be revived.
