The Saudi embassy in The Hague, the capital of the European country, has been attacked.
The Hague police said on their Twitter account that a report of a shooting at the Saudi embassy was received around 6 a.m. No one was killed or injured. 20 bullet marks were found on the building.
Police have recovered bullet casings and sent them to a forensic lab, while gathering evidence and launching an investigation, but no motive has been identified for the attack.
Hours after the attack, The Hague police tweeted that a 40-year-old man from the Zawitar Mir area had been arrested on suspicion of attacking the Saudi embassy.
