The dollar could not bear the burden of the US election, a record decline in value

 

The counting of votes for the US presidential election has entered its third day and the results of 6 states are yet to come.

Former Vice President and Democratic nominee Joe Biden is still leading with 253 electoral votes, while the 45th President of the United States and Republican candidate Donald Trump is trailing with 213 votes.

So far, CNN has released results for 46 states, with Biden winning 253 and Donald Trump 213.

There are currently 6 states where the counting of votes is underway. These include Alaska, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina and Pennsylvania. If Biden wins in Arizona and Nevada, he will reach the 270 required to become president.

According to the results so far, Biden has a slight lead in Arizona with 11 votes and Nevada with 6 votes and he needs the same 17 votes to become president.

On the other hand, Donald Trump leads in Alaska with 3 votes, Georgia with 16 votes, North Carolina with 15 votes and Pennsylvania with 20 electoral votes. If he maintains the momentum of victory and wins in either Arizona or Nevada, Donald Trump will be re-elected president.
