PSL 5: Teams gather in Karachi to show action

 

Teams gathered in Karachi for the action of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 5 play-off stage.

The players of all the teams have started preparations to show action by keeping their eyes on the PSL title.

The action of Pakistan Super League will be held in Karachi from November 14 to 17 and the teams have started practice in Karachi to compete in the event.

On Tuesday, four teams Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi trained in full swing in Karachi.

In the morning session, the top table teams Multan Sultans and Karachi Kings headed to the National Stadium and held a long practice session at the High Performance Center.

Zimbabwe's Brendon Taylor and Joe Danley have been added to the Multan Sultans squad to replace Mahmudullah and James Venus.

In the evening session, the Lahore Qalandars team headed to the National Stadium. Qalandars foreign players Sumat Patel, David Weissa and Dan Velas also participated in the session.

Ben Dunk did not attend the training session, he will be in action with the team tomorrow.

Fakhr Zaman, Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez will join the team tomorrow while Tamim Iqbal of Bangladesh will also join the team tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Peshawar Zalmi also trained at Moin Khan Academy and played intra squad matches.

On Wednesday, Multan Sultans will play a practice match with Peshawar Zalmi at the National Stadium while Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars will play a practice match at Moin Khan Academy.
