Gilgit-Baltistan A2 PPP workers have protested against the unofficial unconfirmed results of Gilgit-2.
According to DIG Waqas Ahmed, the protesters have called the unofficial preliminary results of Gilgit-Baltistan A2 Gilgit-2 rigged. During the protest, the protesters set fire to a government office and four government vehicles.
According to DIG Waqas Ahmed, 20 to 25 people are involved in the mischief. Clashes have also taken place between the police at River View Road and various places while additional police personnel has been called after the tense situation.
On the other hand, PPP leader Sadia Danish from Gilgit-Baltistan has said in her statement that the Chief Election Commissioner himself is disappearing the evidence of fraud from Constituency 2, the result of Constituency 2 will not be released till the forensic results come out.
Sadia Danish has said that the Chief Election Commissioner is playing the role of a PTI worker. There is a fear of disturbing the peace in Gilgit-Baltistan due to the attitude of the Chief Election Commissioner.

It may be mentioned that the counting of votes is being recounted today at the request of a PPP candidate at all 52 polling stations of GBA-21 Ghazar 3, another constituency of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.
