Jammu and Kashmir People's Democratic Party (JKPDP) chief and former Chief Minister of Occupied Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti has been re-arrested. The occupying Indian Army released Mehbooba Mufti 14 months later in October this year. However, he is now in custody again.
Mehbooba Mufti said in her tweet that I have been detained again, I have been trying to meet the family of my colleague Waheed Pareh for two days but the administration is not allowing me to meet the family of Waheed Pareh. That Bharatiya Janata Party ministers are allowed to roam all over Kashmir, is there a security issue for me?
He said that there is no limit to the cruelty and Waheed has been arrested on baseless charges.
Mehbooba Mufti says that my daughter Al-Taja was detained because she also wanted to meet Waheed's family.
It may be recalled that Mehbooba Mufti was detained by the Indian government on August 5 last year immediately after the end of her special status in Occupied Kashmir and was released in October this year.
Mehbooba Mufti, who is considered to be pro-India, was also protesting against the cruel move of the Indian government after her release.
