Bollywood star Rahul Rai, who rose to fame in the popular Indian film Aashiqui, has suffered a brain stroke in the early 1990s.
It may be recalled that Rahul Rai was in Kargil these days for the shooting of his upcoming film LAC. It is said that he suffered a brain stroke due to severe cold and severe weather conditions in Kargil.
After the stroke, he was first taken to Srinagar. However, he has now been shifted to Mumbai where he is undergoing treatment at Nanavati Hospital and is in the ICU.
Rahul Roy's brother Romer Sen confirmed the news and said he was in good health.
Talking about LAC Live the Battle, he said that this film is based on real events of Gloucester Valley and Rahul is playing the role of Major in this film. It is directed by Nitin Kumar Guptam, and co-produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nawadata Basu.
It is to be noted that Rahul started his Bollywood career with the 1990 film Aashiqui, and this film was a huge success, as a result of which Rahul became a star overnight. He also acted in other films.
