Pakistan cricket team's star batsman and captain Babar Azam has said that he is trying to raise the team's ranking and this is possible only by winning consecutive matches for which a good performance will have to be shown.
According to the details, after being appointed as the captain of the Test team, Babar Azam said that it is a matter of great pride that I also got the captaincy of the Test format. The effort will be to make the best team. Feed and support the combination, young players will learn as much as they play with seniors.
Babar Azam further said that he learned a lot by playing under the captaincy of former captains Sarfraz Ahmed and Azhar Ali for which he was grateful.
Babar Azam thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and said that he was very happy that I was trusted and given another responsibility. Inshallah, I am trying to captain in ODIs and T20s. I am trying to do the same in Tests. My journey in cricket has been going on since 2007 when I was a ball-picker. Many things have to be sacrificed to get it.
