In December last year, $ 17 million (approximately Rs 3.74 billion) was stolen from the home of Temara Eccleston, the 35-year-old billionaire daughter of former Formula One chief Bernie Eccleston. Three people, including a 47-year-old Armenian woman and her son, have now been arrested for cleaning a 70-million-pound (approximately Rs. 15.40 billion) house in Temra, and the suspects are identified as Maria Mister Caught because of a little stupidity of the woman.
According to Mail Online, the woman, named Maria Meister, fled to her home country after the theft and returned to the UK on January 31, wearing diamond earrings worth لاکھ 300,000 (approximately Rs. 66 million) in her ears. These were the same earrings that were stolen from Temara's house along with other jewelery. When Maria Mester landed at Stansted Airport in the United Kingdom wearing such expensive earrings, the authorities interrogated her and arrested her at the airport. Maria's 29-year-old son Emile Bogdan Sevastro and another suspect were later arrested.
Recently, Maria Meister was produced in court where she was indicted, which was rejected by the accused. She said she was not in the house at the time of the theft and did not know the other two accused in the case. The case is pending in the court. It should be noted that Timra Eccleston was out of the country with her husband and daughter for a 3-week holiday when her 57-bedroom luxury home was burglarized. The burglars stole cash, jewelery and other valuables worth a total of 70 17 million.
