Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has turned 60 years old. General Qamar Javed Bajwa was born on November 11, 1960 in Karachi. He belongs to the Jute family. His father Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Iqbal Bajwa was also a senior officer in the Pakistan Army. He died in Quetta in 1967 while serving. General Qamar Javed Bajwa was only seven years old when his father passed away and he is the youngest of five siblings. General Qamar Javed Bajwa completed his early education at Sir Syed College and He graduated from Gordon College, Rawalpindi in 1978 and joined the Pakistan Army in 1980. He took over as the Chief of Army Staff on November 29, 2016.
