In the Egyptian capital, Cairo, a man set himself on fire in protest of government corruption and showed the full video of the incident live on social media.
The shocking incident took place in the famous Tahrir Square in the heart of the city, where a middle-aged man tried to set himself on fire while chanting slogans against government corruption.
A man named Mohammad Hussaini kept shouting in Tahrir Square during the day and calling the government a thief. He was shouting that the government is a thief, corrupt, Egypt is the richest country in the world but it has fallen into the hands of thieves, the country is on the verge of destruction due to government corruption.

Prior to the self-immolation, the man was playing a live video on Facebook, and the 20-minute video ended when he doused himself with petrol and set himself on fire.
A video from a nearby building shows the man falling to the ground after being set on fire, with nearby security guards rushing to his aid, while water from a water tank is extinguished through a pipe. And the burn victim is taken to hospital.

Authorities have not commented on the incident, but the burn victim is being treated at a hospital. It is reported that the man was released from prison some time ago.
