A final decision has been taken to change the captain of the national Test cricket team.
According to a private TV report, the Pakistan Cricket Board has decided to appoint a new Test captain, Babar Azam, but the final announcement will be made with the squad for the tour of New Zealand. Sources said that there is a fear of grouping from different captains in view of which a change has been decided. Making Babar Azam the captain will end the grouping in the team. Consideration is being given, but Babar Azam is the strongest candidate.
