WhatsApp, a popular messaging application, has introduced a new feature that allows users to permanently mute any unnecessary chat.
According to a report by a foreign news agency, this option has recently been added to WhatsApp's 'chat settings'. Earlier, the duration of any chat on WhatsApp was 8 hours, a week or a year. But now users have been given the option to mute chats 'forever' instead of one year. The new feature of WhatsApp is now available in both Android and iOS apps.
It may be recalled that WhatsApp had recently introduced a feature to add up to eight people to an audio or video call group. Earlier, the social networking site WhatsApp could only add up to four people during a group call.
